I took Friday off work so that I'd have a long weekend. This weekend wasn't intended as a working weekend, but as a family get-together. I did take advantage of the opportunity to get some work done however. The new engine brackets I'd designed and ordered on my last trip were ready so I fitted these and a much modified mounting rubber. It works but I have no idea how it will perform when being driven. I'll report on that at some point in the future. With the mount in place I could refit the carburettor and manifold. I also cleaned and inspected the prop shaft which revealed that it would require some overhaul work. That was it for this trip but I only had one day really to work on it and the engine mount problem took quite a long time to sort out.
